On 21 December 2007 MKAP founder Mike Kilgour sold his shareholding in the company to the remaining two key shareholders and directors - Aran Brooks and Jon Seymour. Mike has resigned as Company Secretary and is no longer involved nor retains any interest in the company.
The decision was taken over a period of months leading up to the end of 2007 and enables Mike to focus his attention on further developing his already very successful architectural practice, MKA Chartered Architects Ltd (MKACA). The decision was very amicable and removes the final tie between the two companies. MKAP look forward to a continued good working relationship with Mike and MKACA in a professional capacity as QS and PM on future projects.
Mike founded MKAP in November 2000 as a vehicle for special projects in the design and build arena. After the recruitment of Aran in 2002 and Jon in 2004, the company continued its growth into the successful Chartered Quantity Surveying and Project Management company that it is today.
Aran and Jon would like to publicly thank Mike for all his input and efforts over the past seven years. We wish him the best of luck with the continued development of MKA Chartered Architects Ltd.
